Cap San Diego
The Cap San Diego is a beloved landmark of the Port of Hamburg – prominent and steeped in maritime history. For two decades, she carried break-bulk cargo between Europe and the east coast of South America for the Hamburg Süd shipping company.
- Curation, design, scenography
- Permanent exhibition, 600 m2
Curating this exhibition on board meant stepping into the world of 1960s seafaring. As the largest ocean-going museum cargo ship in the world, the vessel itself became both stage and storyteller. I developed the concept and led the exhibition design to bring its history – and humanity – vividly to life
